I think Force will win his 14th. I don't think Capps can handle the pressure.
Kelly isn't around, is she?

The coolest deal might be the JFR cars 1-2-3
and it's possible...

I think that the "Prock Rocket" and Robert Hight are on a roll now. They have some momentum and it's at the right time. It would be cool to see him win it, but for sure it's turning out to be a heck of a fight!

4 races left and all 3 classes are tight. And yet the NHRA thinks there has to be a playoff next year. Go figure.

I'm watching boss. Don't forget to ask Don what the code word is when you see him at Reading. :D

My thoughts exactly. More often than not, most of the classes are close.

Bubba, you've hit the nail on the head with that one..... I still don't get why NHRA figures they need a shootout. Oh well.... Problem is, out here on the West Coast, unless you run an association race (PSCA, PRA, etc.) or Goodguys etc., they're the only game in town. We don't have the option of running IHRA... We came close a few years ago when Palmdale jumped to IHRA, but then changed back.....
BTW, Ron Capps sure jumped up in the polls.... :D Wonder if Kelly had anything to do with it! :p Just kidding Kelly!:D

I think Ace tunes better for the heat, and the tracks have been cooling off. The Force Mustangs blister the track when it's cool. I think Jimmy Prock has the best handle on his car of the chiefs. Hight is doing a great driving job too.
Seems like a lot of these teams are cyclical: they peak and wane during the season. Hight's team seems to be peaking at the right time. And by not stinking the rest of the season, they left themselves in a good position at the end.
I voted for Hight.

After working with Robert and the guys there at JFR, I can tell you that there is not a more deserving person/driver to win this year, John's team has his "old heap" running in top form, but Robert's team has that car running on a wire.
Top notch group over there, the best people I've ever had the honor of working with.
GO ROBERT!!

I want to see John get off 13, but I think Robert really deserves it. I really doubt if John is gonna stand in his way and let Capps take the title.
I really liked how capps started with Brut last year and really wanted him to win last year, but he has really done alot of stuff that makes all that "just honored to be here" attitude he started with seem real fake. I dont think he can take the pressure either. He will start whining about team orders as soon as one force car beats the other. But I definitely agree that Robert is the biggest threat.

That's good to hear 951. You're a lucky guy to be able to go to work with a bunch of people you really respect.

i love watching that guy in his top-end interviews, too. he's so intense and 100% right there in that moment. it's great! i got a good laugh when they interviewed him a few races back, and it was just before juan was about to make his pass. i can't remember exactly what he said, but it was something about juan still being back there and he had so-and-so in the other lane, yadda, yadda, yadda. and then at the end, really quickly he throws in, "and i hope john wins it!" too funny! gotta love him. :D

JFR, John Force Racing. I'm happy to see any of them win but I would really like to see John get #14.
