Why did NHRA close tech for Maple Grove? With the Budds Creek Race being right down the road, the NHRA might have a tough time filling their nitro fields. Erica and Jeggie are out as well.

Where did you read that Jeg is going to run at Maple Grove? I thought he wasn't supposed to start competing until Richmond the following weekend?

Nowhere, but that doesn't mean much. Stepping up their schedule wouldn't have been out of the question.

Surprised NHRA didn't leave tech open so one of their golden girls would be able to attend.
