guess drinking sugar laden milk isn't exactly a health food.
and I can't find any nutrition info on revive's web site, if it's such a healthy food you 'd think they 'd share that.
too bad if Vitor lost the sponsorship, that's one driver in the IRL that is a win waiting to happen.
Some of you are sooooo jealous of what you can't and never will have in your lives.
Just keep typing at that keyboard because it's all you got.
Good job Erica and Greg. Hope David makes some serious HP over the winter and gives Anderson a run for his money.

Jealous - I think not pal. Just because someone enjoys chatting with others and debating in a chat means nothing.
You have no clue what other people have - so do not throw out lines like that.
As for contending with ANDERSON - LOLOL r u kidding. She will be lucky to get in and out of the car alone with all that weight she put on.
Looks like we were typing at the same time. Great minds think alike. :)

I wish them luck in their endeavors. That field is so competitive, luck will be required (along with talent and $$$) to compete with the top (and I do mean top, not middle of the pack) teams. For the sake of the new sponsor (and we all know we need as many of them as we can get) I hope they have enough success to get the sponsor hooked on the sport!
As for the weight gain, I say fire the photographer!! DEFINITELY not a flattering camera angle! Someone should've rejected the shot and said "try again". Her PR folks need to understand that even though Erica is an attractive girl, some camera angles portray her as heavier than she is. Get with the program, people! Of course, this is just my opinion....

I hope they find the setup on the car and start qualifying.
I really am not much of a dodge fan, but to see the hemi orange type color on that car makes me think of the challengers and chargers of the late 60's. Almost makes everything seem right in the world when you get the muscle car colors back on new cars.

Why are you ersaing message that people are writing here???
It is a board where people express their opinions. Just shut the **** board down if you are going to monitor it like we are in 2nd grade!!!

Looking at EE's photo on NHRA.com. (sorry Bobby) It's just the Black shirt against the color of her hair that makes her look big. You guys are right about the camera angle though. Erica also has that kinda face, but she ain't fat.
I honestly think they will get back in the show. Not sure if they will be in Anderson territory, but that's pretty rare air! Nickens knows what he is doing and if the crew jells that will make it easier for double-E to keep her mind on driving.
It says something for not only our sport, but for her, that a non-automotive sponsor stepped up so quick.

Why am I erasing the messages? Because I can and will if I don't feel it fits in with this forum. Here's the deal...I'm not going to shut the board down...but I will edit and remove as I see fit. Now if you have a problem with that...you know the alternative - don't come back. One of the requests I made is that you speak your nmind in a situation as long as it doesn't hit on a personal nature. I thought there were some shots below the belt and they were removed.
I would rather you remain part of our forum but that's your choice. - Bobby Bennett

And saying that she looks horrible in the picture - that is not a personal attack against her. IT IS A FACT - take a look and see for yourself.
As you for you picking and choosing what you want to erase - then, yes you are an XXXXXXXX.
NOTE FROM BOBBY - Yes I am and guess what? You're banned. The first casualty.

ohh that is unfortunete - but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.
Food for thought (and thought only) if simular comments where made about a male racer would the reaction be the same? Perhaps this is gender bias even if unintentioanal.
Not that it is worth arguing over, and it's not my intention to stir up the pot.
Please continue to do what you feel is nessacary to keep this forum available and open to all. I would much rather have it then not :D

I just scanned thru the article, but it seems like a fairly new company that just started advertising.
As far as the name goes, it might fit a bit better with a returning funny car driver.......but they think she will be a great face for all their products. I dont think anyone heard much about Slammers before either. Plus its possibly a three year deal, it will be interesting what the terms of getting picked up are gonna be.
Regardless, I think it is a company we will hear more about because regardless of how Erica does, the name is gonna be mentioned alot more since she is mentioned so much whether or not she qualifies. Its good to see new advertisers moving in that will eventually take the void that Miller is leaving in the sport.
Ok i am going to try this again.( to the admin I never bashed enders)
All i did was disagree with editing.
Ok here is my question......what the heck is her claim to fame . And how is she going to compete in pro stock. David got his name in the comp days.... Does anyone think he can build a competitive p/s motor. Heck he lost mopar.........
Just my 2 cents

Why is everyone hating on the Enders. I dont get it. These folks have an amazing opportunity to try to run a Pro Stock program and it seems like everyone just wants them to fail.

Erica has raced everything from Jrs on up. She wasn't a world beater, but she did well. She and her sister had a Disney movie made about them and until what ever happened with Cagnazzi, she was a threat. Of course being a Texan, she's already got my vote, but I'm one too, so there! But seriously, she is well spoken, already has a base of fans, and even though women are no big deal in our sport, she gets a lot of mention. I also admire the fact that, while she still lacks some consistency, she is not afraid to challenge the old pros. I don't think she gets intimidated. I don't know her, but she seems pretty grounded.
As for Nickens, (see being a Texan above!) some may forget he took over the Mopar deal a while back and did do well. Honestly, he wouldn't be my first choice, but his engine building skill is as good as any and the Enders seem to have confidence in him. And that DOES mean something. I am more of a fuel car guy, but Pro Stock is incredibly competitive. The difference between 1 and 16 is almost nothing. Heck the top non qualifiers could beat #1 if they cut a great light against one only a taste off.
As a fan, I love to read this board, and it's fun to hear the trash talk, but I agree that it doesn't need to get personal. I guess I'm the odd one, when I was racing, I hated everyone in the class on race day, because I had to race 'em. But after.... all was good. Although I have a few I'd rather see win, and shout and scream for them, I just enjoy a good race.
Anyway.......that's my story and I'm sticking to it!:D
Not THAT Guy

EVERYONE doesn't want them to fail. SOME people want them to fail. SOME people are such big fans of theirs that they have unrealistic hopes for the teams success in an extremely competitive class. MOST people are realistic and understand that the Enders have bitten off a big chunk, maybe more than they can handle, or maybe they are just like Anderson who left a World Championship operation to go out on his own and through hard work (and a big pile of Ken Black's $$$) became a champion himself.
Time will tell.

Congradulations to the Enders. I think she is going to do just fine. It is a very tough class and it will take time. If David is able to produce the power she will be a winner....no doubt.

As far as EE goes I can take or leave her... I would like to see her do well.. if only because SHE is the first female to even "Try" to run PS in a very long time... Also IMO & I'm no expert.. but I think its tougher to be competitive in PS than TF.. also if Ashley should ever run in FC that will also be tougher than TF.. But Ashley will have the advantage of having the best in the business behind her.
When EE was racing Cagnazzi's car and was doing very well I was happy as a pig in sht* She was a rookie. but had some of the BEST equipment and team behind her... Now she is still a rookie, but as good as Bob G. might be I don't think she will have that little performance edge that she had with the Cagnazzi car..... As we all know in PS .050 is a mile...

I'm not quite sure how to express this and if it is even relevent, but dosen't it seem interesting that 10 days (is that correct?) after leaving the evil empire they have a major sponser? didn't this process HAVE to be in the works for a while?
Did DSR miss out here? if so, I think its about time someone DID them.
Or, I could be all wet, you know, the keyboard thing that don was talking about

I don't think anyone needs a claim to fame to race. This isn't an elected sport. If the team is willing to put in the time and effort, then they have as good a shot as the rest of the teams.
Nickens' comp success could very well be what is holding him back. WAY back when he first went to Pro Stock, Nickens was quite adamant about how easy the transition would be to the 500" ranks. Most recently with DSR he was once again confident about getting up to speed and supplying all the DSR cars with power. Well, Rome was not built in a day. How long did it take Joe Hornick to build the engines for Cagnazzi Racing? That didn't happen over night either. Give it time and it will happen. If it doesn't,,, oh well. That's racing!
