The race started about 30 minutes ago at 2:30 est.

This problem was not caused by the ADRL. Maple Grove had the shutdown area paved and sealed. They were told by the contractor that the asphalt would cure in 24 hours. It did not. ADRL stepped in and had that surface scraped off past the 1/4 mile finish line so the event could be saved.

Just read that the new Bahrain pro mod Murf Mckinney car on it initial first pass did not make the trip to Maple Grove. Damaged must been pretty bad. What was the issue?

Sounds like poor management on Maple Groves part, why repave a day before a big event.:rolleyes:

The contractor should pay for their mistake.

Blew up a converter and couldn't test before this weekend.

Looking at the video from the track today @ 11:25am. Looks like a ghost town.
Everybody in the pits?

Nope, pretty sparse crowd. Kind of shoked me when I got there. Shame its some really nice cars that attend these events.

Good crowd for a Independant type race, but not ADRL type.

That and I honestly think in the NE is NOT a hot bed for 1/8 mile racing. No matter who trys to present it.
