I met Jeff and Tyrone last year at the World Series race where they participated with Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stock Association.

The AMC brings back so many memories.
My first car was a Pastel Green AMC Hornet with a 6cyl.
Took a lot of time to swap that 6 out for a v-8 being back in the day, working 2 jobs for peanuts and tired after work but I made it happen.

That's where the "HOT" topic comes up as being Illegal Street racing but I was Waaaay younger, I'd drive down to Front Street in South Philadelphia and win some and lose some but it was kind of a sleeper that people would laugh at because it was an AMC until I hit the gas pedal.

(Google..John Eddie and the Front Street Runners, They actually wrote a song about Front St. 1:20 in the song.)

In this respect times haven't changed at all. It's based on this pink car from back in the day....
