wow, Bartone 5.53 @270. 24 straight round wins.

I dont know what Adam would have run if he didnt blow up, but to run 5.79 at 194 thru the traps blowing up around 1000 feet we might have seen side by side 5.50's.

Great coverage! I watched much longer yesterday than I would an ESPN2 show and stayed awake the whole time. I would have gotten a lot more "Honey do's" done if it was the NHRA show. Don't care and you guys rock!

Adam mentioned today on FB that his incrementals were quicker than Tony's all the way up to the bang...

What a heckuva event. some 78 nitro burners in da house. Interesting the comment in post #3 maybe questioning the validity of the "racers race," the March Meet being the nations premiere independent race.

When you look at the undeniable facts of this race from 59 thru yesterday, the real facts speak for themselves. Just this past weekend with some 500 entries, and pay attention to this fact, more supercharged cars in the pits than any other race in the U.S.A at a drag strip, the facts win out. Largest Funny Car entry field to date in 2015. The flat out incredible turnout of Fuel Altereds, states represented, and so on. From 108 Fuelers when Sorokin took the Surfers to the win in 66, with 64 car and 32 car fields thru the years, this race, is not doubt, is indeed the nations premiere independent drag race.

Many a year this race outdid Pomona and Indy for the rank of best race of the year for dragsters.

One more thing, there is something really special and unique about the big drag race at Famoso. JMO.
