People said the same thing about Todd Smith and how did that play out?

That person is probably the same one who said Brittany Force would be a threat for the top 5 in points.

Maybe he should change his name from "FlopperGuy" to "SomeGuy"

Matt Hagan has definitely got a hotrod. Dickie and his group of mechanics are doing a great job. The Funny Car battle is and will continue to be very tight this year. To those out there who want to bash Dickie, I think it is uncalled for....

I agree. Each crew chief has a method; a certain "style" and DV is putting his to good use right now. The DSR organization will share their data but when it comes down to it, each crew chief will make a call on the setup according to his own resolve and they will race it that way. In so many words, that's what the Don said. Gray and Hagan are definitely a step ahead right now but as we've seen before many times, anything can happen. Good luck to Dickie rest of the season.

I bet Matt is really happy Tommy D left looking back on it now, he is in a much better position compared to his former tuner.

yeah I liked delago but it seems that Dickie has adapted to the DSR base line and been able to improve on it as the season has gone on. they have probably been the most consistent FC this year

Have you already forgotten that Tommy D. tuned Matt to a Championship in 2011? That was a good position as far as I am concerned.
