Obviously you do care AtcoDave because you took the time out of your day to respond. I do like Pro Stock. It's still the best Pro Class

I love that response.

You really think Pro Stock is the best pro class?

The percent of entertaining side by side racing is by far the best of all the pro classes IMO

I do very much care about drag racing including the eroding of formerly beloved Pro Stock. It was an awesome class when Chevy, Pontiac, Ford, Olds, Plymouth, AMC and Dodge were campaigned by passionate gear heads who would do some crazy and cool engineering to win.

The regulars on here know I go to great lengths to state my opinion about anything I'm passionate about and I've started to type a dang book on my opinion for returning Pro Stock to its glory days numerous times. But I've finally figured out why I eventually give up every time. Pro Stock has been stretched and compromised and modified is just too many ways. Nothing I could ever say would do it any good. It's been stretched and changed so much it can't recover the passionate crowd it had 30-40 years ago.

Nuts. Just Nuts!!
