Default Snakes still a sellin'

From Snakes FB:
Quote:
The 1987 Pontiac Trans-Am Skoal Bandit funny car was recently sold by Snake to a private collector in Ohio. Here's a photo of the car in the G.M. wind tunnel.

Probably this era (Late 80's-early 90's) was the last of the FC body that actually looked like the car. It wasn't soon after this, and the Batmobile, that the bubbly cars started to show up.
Another thing I love about this pic, other than its a late 80's Trans Am and one of the Snakes best looking FC's, is how the engineers are all focusing on the (Banned after the US Nats) rear spoiler.

... yeah, looks like The Snake brings some extra $$$ value when he sold it compared to regular ol' joe. Not to mention the (I think) 10% BJ fee, that "collector" took a hit. Snake is probabbly thinking to himself: "Whew, got rid of it just in time."

Kinda strange that just one year later the car is back again. If it drops another $40K next year... I'M IN!

Like The Snake, it's my favorite.
