That is the one rule change I have disagreed with since they implemented is the no points for the national record. It really helped shape the 2015 funny car battle when the record changed hands a dozen times and a couple times on the final day.

Plus one of the greatest moments in history was a product of the bonus points.

In a perfect world the bonus points would be 20 for national et record, 10 for the national speed record, 5 each for low et and top speed of the meet.

No titles locked up in Vegas.

However, just by showing up to Pomona, Steve Torrence has won the Top Fuel championship.

Ron Capps just needs to qualify.

Bo Butner just needs to qualify.

Eddie Krawiec needs to win a round.

Best overall season award goes to Bo Butner with the highest points total of any pro driver.

Pro Stock mirrored the real season the most, with only Jason Line and Tanner Gray trading places.
