Last night Tom Petty was found unconscious, not breathing, and in full cardiac arrest in critical condition at his Malibu home. After he got to the hospital he had no brain activity and a decision was made to pull life support. He was 66.
He just wrapped a huge tour, ending at the Hollywood Bowl late last Monday. RIP |

10:30 am Monday a chaplain was called to the hospital room and he is not expected to live through the night. The family has a "do not resuscitate" order on Tom, but he's still clinging to life. The LAPD, confirming the singer's death, was wrong.
Update: He passed away Tuesday at 8:40 PM PT at UCLA surrounded by friends, family and his bandmates. Last edited by slugbelch; 10-03-2017 at 05:29 AM. Reason: update |

I considered going to see them this year..... until I saw the cost of tickets! It was an outdoor venue with a huge pavilion. It was $300.00 for the worst seats under the pavillion and $150.00 for "The Lawn" which totally sucks. Front row was $1,000 and up!.

Garth Brooks admits to lip-syncing at the Country Music Awards this past weekend, but not when he was with KISS performing on the Tonight Show as today in 1976 the band's 5th album was released.
"Hard Luck Woman" reached to #15 on Billboard 41 long years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PnlYNqvBi0 |
