RIP 10 time Grammy Award winner Glen Campbell.

9 albums hit #1 on Billboard's Country Charts and no less than 30 top 10 singles, 5 of which hit #1.

Founder of Southern rock icons Molly Hatchet, Dave Hlubek, has died at the age of 66 today.

Co founder of Steely Dan, Walter Becker, passed away of unknown causes yesterday at 67.

VH1 listed them as one of the 100 greatest musical artists of all time, having sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. "Rikki Don't Lose That Number" peaked at #4 in 1974 and "Do It Again" was their 2nd highest charting hit, peaking at #6 in 1972.

Last night Tom Petty was found unconscious, not breathing, and in full cardiac arrest in critical condition at his Malibu home. After he got to the hospital he had no brain activity and a decision was made to pull life support. He was 66.

He just wrapped a huge tour, ending at the Hollywood Bowl late last Monday.

RIP

10:30 am Monday a chaplain was called to the hospital room and he is not expected to live through the night. The family has a "do not resuscitate" order on Tom, but he's still clinging to life. The LAPD, confirming the singer's death, was wrong.

Update: He passed away Tuesday at 8:40 PM PT at UCLA surrounded by friends, family and his bandmates.

I considered going to see them this year..... until I saw the cost of tickets! It was an outdoor venue with a huge pavilion. It was $300.00 for the worst seats under the pavillion and $150.00 for "The Lawn" which totally sucks. Front row was $1,000 and up!.

RIP Chuck Mosley, the original singer for Faith No More, has died. He was 57.

A statement issued by Mosley's family: “After a long period of sobriety, Charles Henry Mosley III lost his life, on Nov. 9, 2017, due to the disease of addiction. We’re sharing the manner in which he passed, in the hopes that it might serve as a warning or wake up call or beacon to anyone else struggling to fight for sobriety."

Garth Brooks admits to lip-syncing at the Country Music Awards this past weekend, but not when he was with KISS performing on the Tonight Show as today in 1976 the band's 5th album was released.

"Hard Luck Woman" reached to #15 on Billboard 41 long years ago.
