I love barbeque and chinese food - but a couple of times a month is enough. Same theory applies to 4-wide racing. It's a novelty; something the west coast has never seen...and doesn't need to see more than once a year.

I'm glad to see it was a roaring success at Vegas. Let's keep it that way by not making it everyday fare.

“I don’t think it would be fair to have a four-wide race in the Countdown when pro drivers are racing for championships,” he said to rule out converting either of the tracks’ fall events to four-wides. “We need to be as consistent as possible at each of the six playoff races.”
Proves it is a joke.
Gainesville sold out. 2 lanes.
Economy might be improving for fans. Might be why attendance is up. Or NHRA is rising in popularity as NASCAR drops.

The Spring race in Vegas for whatever reasons has historically had very poor fan turnout. So this years 4-Wide having sell out crowds will be a good indicator of what the fans really think of 4-Wide if they return next year.

I for one have never attended a 4-Wide, can't stand the 4-Wide, but would like to see it in person at least once. I couldn't make it to Vegas this year, but will try for next year.

"Fans" may like it, but not many participants do.

Only if they promise to drop at least 2 days off the marathon length of that race. Friday to Monday would be long enough.

It is already a dump, couldn't hurt it much. All it has is tradition, at least that would finish it off.

Can't see the bosses at the NHRA cutting into their bonuses.
