What opinion? I guess you can read this a couple different ways, but one way is the nhra admitting they are not qualified to make any rules about nitro racing, and instead of picking these guys brains in trailers or other unofficial meetings they need to get them in an official capacity.

This has nothing to do with PRO, if it still exists. The whole point of PRO was to have one person approaching the nhra on grievances within the pro categories and not have some 50 crew chiefs and 50 drivers asking about things on individual meetings. You start with 10 different drivers complaining about somebodies possible cheating all being heard by the PRO committee and it saves 9 meetings of nhra's time.

That may be what NHRA thinks as well, thus this new group of pro's handpicked by them

Would have thought Jim Head's name would have been there instead of Del's

hypothetically....Seattle 2010 all over again. Except I dont think Graham is that much of an idiot to throw a temper tantrum and threaten to pull fuel cars from a show.
