So one of two things here. One we arenít talking the same head. Which you clearly mentioned Glidden from the 80ís era when he was fast. Two you are serious referring to that head and like I say you canít be serious. Wouldnít be any different at this point then a GM guy saying let me have a SR-20 head and I show these boys how to get it done. Super badass head but not even in the same league. Yup calling bull**** on it.

All everyone has refered to is current stuff being dinosaur so letís go even more backwards and use an engine that was done in the 60ís. Far cry from the blown engines being used in the factory showdown cars. At least the current 500 inch stuff was in the oem catalog and bought from them. Donít recall anyone ever having a 5.300 block in thereís could stand to be corrected.

That rule no longer applies to the class.

Donít look at me on this one. I had raced that head too. Told everyone it was going to be a disaster and take them out. Freeman dam sure didnít listen and we see how it worked out for him and Elite. So maybe you should listen and think about few other things I have told you too donít take that the wrong way again just telling you.

Yup. And that was one of those rules that was intended to make racing more affordable. It should have been killed as soon as it was evident it made some racers uncompetitive. I guess they figured Roy and others would figure away around it, but after a half or full seasion it was clear there wasn't one. But they still refused to change the rule.

I don't know the weight of that Mustang, but a legal MMPS Mustang with an 825" engine should run quicker than 4.25 to the 660. More like 4 flat.

I have the utmost respect for Charlie Westcott, but Glidden won with that engine in the early to mid 90's which is more than 20 years ago! No one could make that engine competitive.
