The search is over. GM cash ended it. Albeit with the sanctioning body's full cooperation.

If you think GM has dumped cash into this class you are wrong.

Weight breaks from the 70's, Non Production engines from the 80's , body template rules from the 90's. Fuel blend rules from the 90's. All those rules bought and paid for by GM to NHRA. They have set the tone for Pro Stock. It is what it is now because of that rules history.

Why would Mopar and Ford want to field Pro Stock teams when GM owns NHRA Pro Stock?

Allen, Roy and the whole family really are a class act and I wish them the best.

Totally agree.

Allen has always said he will not drive anything else; It's Mopar or No Car and he meant it. It has to be tough when your the only one competing with Mopar and basically getting no help from the manufacturer so You are basicly on an island alone fending for yourself.
What manufacturer is giving what P/S racer help?

Roy has been about the only one able to make them run competitively where everyone else has failed (Elite) miserably.

Yup.

Who will win the Chevrolet Pro Stock burn out contest?[/QUOTE]

Came down to a tie between Shane Gray and Kramer with us, the fans, breaking it in favor of Kramer.

Just You Wait ! And wait some more, and maybe a little more after that ! Charlie's gonna ride in with that old Mustang to lasso all those new Chevys ! Sorry , just bored and day dreaming a bit . It's just a bunch of turtles with stickers on them . Next up wheelie contests and best dressed wife on the starting line !
