I sure am glad that running to 1000' saves on engine parts....oops, it doesn't seem that way.

If you would have listened to Gary later he said"he had just lifted(throttle,butterflies and barrell valve closed) and it dropped a valve". **** good thing he wasn't going another 320 feet under full throttle(full fuel flow) or he would have beed setting in a fireball and who know's what the result would have been. You experts really need to listen to all the facts before embarassing yourselves if front of us common people. Ok,I am ready for your next unobserved comment......

I'm just happen to hear you are a common person. I was just making a general statement, not a social comment on what happen to Gary. Believe me nothing I could say would embarrass me in front of you.

Coulda fooled me!! Like I said,you need to pay attention to all the facts,most of which you obviously ignored. Now please respond by commenting on Gary's incident and not your approval or dissaproval of my social status.

I've watched the replay multiple times, frame by frame. It didn't appear he lifted and he was past the finish line when it exploded.
