Default How do I ?

I have always wanted to crew on a team, had the chance but chose BMX racing. I am not looking to get paid, I will wash the trailer or do whatever I can. I am handy with a wrench as well. I do not mean a pro team, but a team looking for some help on a weekend.

Look for a local T/A team.

Find a local sportsman racer, you'd be surprised what it takes to run a car when it's double or triple entered. Plus weekly maintenance is a necessity.

just hit the local tracks at test and tune or weekends. You might find a team that might actually enter in events if they had more people. That at least keeps you in your immediate area. Everyone needs to start somewhere, so getting noticed at a race might get you moving up the chain.

Many times at the local tracks a one or two man band might need help. Hang around, watch, ask....

....and sometimes these opportunities present themselves.

Or head to Facebook and find Terry Totten.
