Default 15th NMCA World Street Finals Next Weekend

The World’s Fastest Street Cars roar into Norwalk, Ohio August 26-28 as Summit Motorsports Park hosts the season-ending 15th Annual NMCA World Street Finals featuring the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series, the Ford Performance Cobra Jet Showdown and the Mopar Drag Pak Showdown. This is THE race, which will determine who stands on the stage later this year in Indianapolis at the champion’s awards ceremony. All the stops will be let out as this high-horsepower boxing match will bring out the best of each and every driver on the property.

Known for producing some of the best performances of the year, drivers will have their cars set to destroy, as they try to claim a their share of history. Under the right conditions, anything can happen and racers know that if the air is in their favor, the track will hold the power. It was at this race last year when DeWayne Mills and Keith Berry charged to the first ever side-by-side 3-second eighth-mile pass in Mickey Thompson Radial Wars. The question is: How much faster can they go?

Combined with the ultra competitive Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series, the Cobra Jet Showdown and Drag Pak Showdown, fans at Norwalk will be treated to ten different heads-up classes, eight index classes, a huge car show and one of the largest manufacturers’ midways of the year. There is also an opportunity to stop by on Saturday or Sunday and meet Daddy Dave and Kye Kelley from the Discovery Channel’s smash hit, Street Outlaws. After Sunday’s final eliminations, the Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle will be rockin’ with the winners and the 2016 NMCA champions as they celebrate their huge victories. This event will be historic, and should not be missed.
