Red face law suites

Maskin is a real engineering type, and a great addition to racing.
That said, it seems he has had trouble with just about everybody he works and races with.
If you look at all the combinations over the years, the one constant is Richard Maskin. I would say he does not play well with others, or work well either I would assume.
I think there will be a very empty zone around him as to teams he can work with, at least if they are smart!
His products are great, but he seems to be lacking something when it comes to team spirit, and the give and take of competition.

This is ridiculous. Unless there are some serious issues not specified elsewhere this is exactly what NHRA does not need. All involved need to realize that.

Default Posted on YB at 1:49pm today by myself

Just got off the phone with both Richard and Bill (Richard then Bill)

First off the Justin Humphreys is a totally different business matter ....... Will not bring it up again on this forum (stickly between Humphreys' and Dart)

On the Glidden/Dart/Maskin deal I spoke with both of them and I see the issues and IMHO it can be worked out between them WITHOUT a Judge/Jury
for a "Soft Landing" for both ................ Richard and Bill both know my feelings on it and I won't post publicly about it again.............. I will (as I promised both) follow it thru on my end)

Man what an ugly year. It's just one piece of bad news after another.

Default Bob Glidden

Bob is known as "mad dog" due to his work ethic, and it has served him well, but he has hopped around from team to team, and weather there is a personality conflict, or Bob just doesn't like slackers, I don't know.
As one of you said, this has been an ugly year, so I hope all is laid to rest peacefully!

Bob didn't hop around, with Morgan he got caught up in a contractual obligation when Shoe bought Larry Morgan and company. With Shoe, he had the "Carlson" effect. Maskin? This thread pretty much explains that.
