HAGERSTOWN, Md. -- $2,000 to win Stock/Super Stock Race November 6-7.
When: Saturday-Sunday November 6-7
Where: Mason Dixon Dragway, Hagerstown Maryland

The Lee Sherman Memorial Stock Race will once again be contested at Mason-Dixon Dragway, in Hagerstown Maryland on Sunday November 7. The sucessful event has been held here for many years, every year in early November, and always attracts some of the east coast's best drivers and cars. This year it will pay a guaranteed $2,000 to win on Sunday. The track will post the additional money to the regular purse to guarantee the $2,000 to win. The normal car count for this race is 40 cars, which pays $1,500 to win, and now will pay $2K. Round money starts at $50 for second round loser, and doubles each round after. Using the normal six round 40 car field, round money will be $50 second round loser, $100 third round, $200 fourth round, $400 semifinal, $800 runner-up and $2,000 to win. There will also be a S/SS race on Saturday. $50 entry (plus $30 test and tune fee to the track). This is the last Class Racing-type event in the Northeast until next April, so if you're a fan of high winding and wheelstanding Stock/Super Stock cars, and you're in the area of Maryland, I invite you to come check us out.

Just a couple of days away. If you live near Hagerstown Maryland, I cordially invite you to come and watch the two races this weekend, especially on Sunday There will be a lot of great area S/SS racers from PA, OH, WV, MD, NJ, DE and other surrounding states. I'm expecting about 50 cars or more (normally we get 35-45). If you were at the Toyo/Keystone Natl's a few weeks ago, and got to witness some of the cool S/SS cars, many of them will likely be here also.
