You guys would be surprised at the financial health of IHRA compared to NHRA.

IHRA is making money, with a lot less overhead, while NHRA is stretched far beyond their ability to support themselves. When you are that much larger, you've still got to pay for all that fluff.....even with fans showing up dressed as aluminum bleachers. Plus, IHRA's sportsman program is much healthier.

You guys on this board are a hoot.

IHRA lost me when they dumped top level classes & open competition. Their current deal is ok. For fans with short attention spans. and thats great if thats your thing.
ya know whats a hoot? that NHRA outlasted them, AHRA, UDRA and all the rest with a similar format. Why? Believe it or not better management.
