Great news. PB has lost a bunch of cars with the new turbo rules, Galot pulling out, and the success of MWPM/NMCA.

I've noticed a few that have decided to try 1/4 mile NHRA racing also.

Hord, Gonzales, Ray, Snyder, Melanie and some others too.

Tommy Gray were running easy high 5.70's at MDIR a week or two ago. Going to be a player in PB.

Desert Demon Racing back in PB. 2 "new" cars announced this week for PB. Great news.

IKE: wish we could get the neopm on mmtv or speed video.

Brian Lones wrote an article on Bangshift that 6 to 8 current PM teams want to race NHRA rignt now, but no spots. Also, he said that 3 current professional NHRA teams are building NHRA PM. I would guess PS guys?

That would be my guess, or maybe a few TAD or TAF guys.

Still waiting for Lizzy to make her debut at NHRA, maybe at Virginia?

NEOPM would be nice on live feed but I don't think it is in their or the tracks budget and the tracks don't offer enough other entertainment to justify it. Doorslammerplus on facebook does some starting line feeds though decent but not great quality.

Ike:

Jose commented on YB about his PDRA operation. He said that he does not think PDRA wants turbos in PB.

He said that a PX car is being built, but he will not race it if they do not get more cars in PX.

Interesting...

But to get more cars there don't you have to participate??

He had a competitive PX car last year that was capable of (and did) running low 50's well over 220 in the 1/8.

But I agree with him, I believe some there at that org rather not have Turbo's there in the first place in either PB or PX but rather push them into PX.

I think PX is doomed, with the new MID WEST Pro Mods series up and running, and with NMCA having a competitive PM series.

Also most of the and "whats left of the" PX racers were from the Mid West and South, don't think they want to travel to the Carolina's, VA and MD for just about every race.
