Its unfortunate that things like that hog the attention away from Nobile's great success with their new car or Kramer's #1 qual run.

Thumbs down

I guess NHRA live is so underproduced, they can't find any stories/interviews/footage in the Topeka pits.
Instead, lets sit in the trailer, draw a check, and watch some Atlanta tape.

The way the radar shows, they will be sitting for a long time.

I'm actually all for it. I can't stand it when everyone is buddy buddy. The class is so God damm boring to begin with, any sort of antics can only make it more interesting.

I always equate it to living in the Philadelphia region and being an Eagles fan. If the Cowboys. Giants, Redskins, Patriots...etc weren't around or our best friends, football would be so boring. You need rivalries, you need a bad guy. That's what makes sports, sports and why you have fans.

That's why it is so detrimental to the class when there is only one manufacturer. There are no rivalries, it is boring.

So if you are not going to have the different manufacturers you better have a bunch of different outgoing personalities.

If you have neither, current NHRA Pro Stock, you have nothing.

I'm sure Richard Freeman already has everything figured out.

Yep, it has been raining all day so far. I just looked at the weather on my lap top and it looks like it might clear up around 7.00 or 8.00 pm. No word yet from the top brass. So I guess I will sit and eat some more snacks and surf the forums while we wait.

Looks like rain to stop around the top of the hour. Gets dark approx. 3.5hrs after that.

In RE the Enders/Gray 'road rage' incident:

I'm of the opinion that Gray deserved to be critiqued for his mistake but not by way of a bunch of F bombs. An explanation on Erica's part along with an "I'm sorry, won't happen again" on Tanner's part was all that was necessary. And let's be honest - the two cars weren't THAT close to hitting one another - all she had to do is tap the brakes, something nearly every one of does on a daily basis driving out on the street.

Personally, I don't care - if this is the biggest dustup we'll see at an NHRA drag race this year, then I reckon we're all way too easily entertained (or too easily offended). But if I had to call it, Tanner wins this boxing match on a decision.

I don't think so. The rain has stopped, but it's 66 degrees, the humidity is 100 percent and they still have a track to dry. Not sure how late they're allowed to race at Topeka....I'd hate for the townsfolk to have to suffer through hearing engines running after 10pm.
