o.k. so,..... i got the header tubes and joints to fit pretty good. filled what needed filling. next i put on the weld details. these are decals you can buy from a company named Archer. they are actually resin printed on water slide backing. they're really cool in my book. at the scale i work in, they also add a really nice touch. at least in my opinion. put some stainless colored paint on. next will be airbrushing some heat marks from welding and running.

hope you enjoy!!!

i had the time to air brush the header. i was looking for the natural welded stainless look. hopefully it's close. next will be the collector retention springs.

thank you slugbelch!

well, i thought i could live with the machining flaw in one of the front wheels. then my buddy clay made me some killer decals for the wheels and at that point i couldn't take it so,.......... after i made some new blanks, sent them to be anodized black, i whittled out a new one that i hope i worthy of the decals. remember, all of my machining is done on an old bridgeport. these are NOT c.n.c.'d.

here's the old wheel with the decals. you can see a slight under cut in the spoke. that was a calc. error on my part.

new blanks.

after anodizing.

after machining. i still need to put on the decals.

hope you enjoy!!!

so, the new wheels needed tires. i machined a pair of front tires from a solid round of neoprene. once the tires were done i test fit some of the pieces to see if it all looked good.

new tires.

test fit.

hope you enjoy!!!
