53 year old Chris Impellitteri is back!

One of the greatest guitar players to come out of the 80's releases a new video and long awaited album to follow soon!

The old man still has the magic touch. Even young modern guitarists are still no match for him.

I love Slacker Radio and lately my go-to "stations" have been "Modern Blues", Stevie Ray Vaughn and Big Head Todd and the Monsters.

35 YEARS AGO TODAY Motley Crue's second album was released right after their appearance at the US Festival and springboarded them to one of the greatest 80's bands of all time.

You can tell this rare TV performance was from the 80's... NO TATTOOS!

Quote:
Vince Neil: “Some people said we were satanic and angry. We always thought that was funny, but we were like, ‘Hey, if it gets us attention let’s go with that.’ We were so starved for stardom that we were willing to do whatever it took. But there was nothing satanic and angry at all. We were just having fun.”
Glad we got to see them back in the good ol' days rather than now. Like all the 80's bands trying a comeback... all fat, ugly, and sound awful.

AWESOME SHOW! Remember at the end when they played "Girls Girls Girls" and the tune starts with motorcycles, instead of them riding in on stage, it was recorded and a big blow up balloon of a motorcycle inflated, boy that was cheezy. Whitesnake opened up for them. Fortunately I wrote it on the back because I don't remember one second of that show.
