really wish Rampy, like so many others, could have continued his pursuit in pro stock from years ago. I bet he could have been a major player, had given the opportunity. ......Hey Mr. Poole, are u gonna start a congratulations thread about Greg, if and when he breaks WJ's all time win record of 96 !! . .........just messin! with ya!! .... With the lame state pro stock is in, im' not even sure the class is gonna exist by the time he gets the opportunity to break it!

I for one am far more impressed with David Rampy's 92 wins in Comp Elim than I am by Greg's 96 wins in P/S.

It takes superior skills and finesse to win that regularly in sportsman racing, in my opinion !

Totally agree. And that's NOT a dig at Anderson. The fact is, Comp. racers usually need to win more than 4 rounds per event to get their Wally. Simple math tells you that just increases the odds for things to go wrong.

I have stated repeatedly on this site and a few others; that the 3 greatest Sportsman racers ever are, in no particular order - Peter Biondo, Dan Fletcher, and David Rampy.

Why would I congratulate a schumck? However, you might be correct about a dead class being around. Hell,If NHRA doesn't get their collective heads out a their rectums, the whole show will be history.
