Did Jim Oddy have influence in the vette. He had one back with fred hahn that was a decent car. I knew he liked the design.

Don't know for sure if Oddy was involved in the design but i can't imagine him not having some input.

Another thing i caught on the broadcast is that they are staying with the clutch instead of switching to a converter.

Maybe Murf sees the value in building hi-end door cars that can cost as much as 2-3 times what a fuel dragster cost to build .

There are so many pro mod type cars being built all over the country. The demand is huge. Not too many dragsters and funny cars being built anymore. Pro Mod is where the growth is and i suspect Murf wants a part of that.

I know Jim Oddy has had cars built by John Torrelli, Wally Stroupe, G-Force, Murray Anderson, Jerry Bickel for his ownership. The Tim Mcamis cars (not owned) by him the 68 camaro and the 57 Bel air.

This should be interesting to see what he thinks. I know its not his money!

Rowdy is right..there are a bunch of pro mod builders all over...and the one thing nice about running these cars is you can run pro mod...top sportsman...outlaw pro street...altered class...comp class...so with the cars your not limited to just one class...Cant wait to get back racing in june....
