What's sad is fans pay $200 for a ticket to see their favorite artist in concert and they are probably lip syncing to the audio track because they can't hit the notes like they used to. EDM (electronic dance music) is a perfect example. You have a Big name d.j. jumping up and down, twisting knobs and doing gestures to hype the crowd up but, All of that music is laid out and pre-recorded. 2 of the worst concerts were The Cars and Billy Idol. They couldn't hit the original note to save their lives. There are many artists that have been snagged lip syncing but when you are 20 rows back at a concert, can you see it?

Check out Greta Van Fleet. They are on the verge of breaking big and sound like early Zepplin.

40 YEARS AGO TODAY, Journey's fourth album "Infinity" was released.

But more importantly, the world got to hear their new singer for the first time, who happened to turn out to be one of the best vocalist in Rock-n-Roll history!

RIP Leon "Ndugu" Chancler, a veteran drummer with an impressive list of credits in jazz and R&B, passed away at 65.

He went on to work with heavyweights like Frank Sinatra, Eric Clapton, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie, and received co-writing credits for three songs on Santana's 1976 album Amigos. But it was "Billie Jean", one of three songs on Michael Jackson's Thriller album on which he played. "P.Y.T." and "Baby Be Mine" were the other two.

He also picked up a Best Rhythm & Blues Song Grammy nomination for helping to write "Let It Whip" by the Dazz Band.

40 YEARS AGO TODAY VAN HALEN WAS BORN!

Van Halen's debut album found Eddie Van Halen completely rewriting the vocabulary and rules of rock guitar while he and his bandmates nearly single-handedly saved classic rock from being overrun by punk and disco. Not a single moment of its 11 tracks is wasted, and in less than two minutes, the instrumental ‘Eruption’ took Eddie straight to the top of the rock guitar god list.
