Default NASCAR Spinning Out of Control

Front page of the Wall Street Journal yesterday:

Nascar, Once a Cultural Icon, Hits the Skids
https://www.wsj.com/articles/long-in...686349?tesla=y

“There’s no magic pill for this one,” former NASCAR race team owner Ed Rensi told the Journal. “It’s about economics and demographics.”

NASCAR fans are outraged at the Monster Energy girls' revealing outfits

If Glendora can get these two stories, the previous one on the front page of a National newspaper, they would call it a success.

There is literally nothing about those outfits that 'reveal too much'.

Banned driver back, but NASCAR says no to his sponsor
Nick Bromberg From The Marbles May 12, 2017 6:38 PM

KANSAS CITY, Kansas — If you’re trying to make a return to Cup racing for the first time since NASCAR fined you a couple hundred grand almost a decade ago, and you don’t have much financial backing, well, you might be tempted to take sponsor money from wherever it comes.

Carl Long, last seen in a Cup race way back in 2009, before NASCAR fined him $200,000, rolled into Kansas Speedway Friday with very little funding, even less sleep and an interesting sponsor on the hood of his race car: Veedverks.

Larry and Michael are great friends and have vacationed together with their families. Larry told Michael the joke before going on air band Michael told him to use it on air to see the reaction of fans.

Kasey Kayne may have saved his job for the next year with that Win on Sunday night . But how he was handled after getting out of that race car was unbelievable. This guy was clearly in need of an IV , nobody was even recognizing this guys needs . The girl in booth , after the kissing of the bricks was disappointed he wasn't able to be interviewed because he needed medical attention. NASCAR has all this BS baseline testing , but I guess all the medical staff leaves after the checkered flag ? And while I'm on this rant , how does Kyle Busch own a race team , work for Joe Gibbs , and maintains a top 5 sponsor with his disposition. This guy outside of that race car is a total back stabbing loser . NHRA is in transition, But Nascar isn't spinning out of control, it is just flat out lost !
