Did NHRA get a hard copy of Gonzales winning run after the event, Better yet take his ECU also and check that out too.

If they did not get a hard copy it is double standard, his et only .015 slower than Hord

Hord 5.711 260 mph Gonzales ran 5.726 in semis. weather about the same Hotter track and better DA for gonzales.

At this point collecting the data is in regards to a new MPH record confirmation/validation, not about verifying a win.

Bottom line - Hord just doesn't trust NHRA to not share his data.

There it is, folks...

And I was quite enlightened that they gave Hord a break by not suspending his driving credentials. How very generous of them. I'll agree with one thing - I'm glad no one lost their cool, because I don't believe it would take much of a tussle for NHRA to run ProMod off the property, permanently.

This right here would be everyone else's main concern as well. I wouldn't trust NHRA with my information as well. But hey, if they share info. like they respond to e-mails (or shall I say my e-mail), then there would be nothing to worry about.

As someone who has experience as an auditor myself and of being audited for many things far bigger than the NHRA, the rule is look, don't take. I expect those that I audit to show me anything I ask to see, but I do not take anything and I afford those who are auditing me the same.

Maybe set them up with a computer, in the racers trailer, and a request to leave their phones (cameras) at the door. They can have the entire weekend to look it over, but the information does not leave the trailer.

An auditor does not have free reign to take information and study it repeatedly in hopes of finding something wrong.
