Gary has a point, with Clear Channel at the helm, IHRA should be much more popular and visible to fans. I would agree that C.C. hasn't done much to publicize and promote drag racing. They (IHRA) don't even have a decent web site for heavens sake!

Its comical how some people think that marketing is the issue, when it is clearly not.

Gary,
If you dont think that a certain few people are getting a big payday, then you are truly blind.

If you don't believe me, read Asher's comments or Jeff Burk's.

And BTW, since Tom Compton has been at the helm, the sport has thrived. No, it hasn't reached it's full potential, and who knows when, or if, it will, but NHRA is far better off now.

If you want to talk about poor performance, think Dallas Gardner, he was a disaster.
Gary you are right again!! Many of you can't stand that NHRA is successful. Get your heads out of the sand. This move will make drag racing much stronger. There is no downside to this move. Thank God for Tom Compton!!!

We'll know soon enough, because it's all public information.

Default refer to one of my earlier posts

drag racing is not for everyone. I would hope that the new "marketing" doesn't take a WWF-type approach with all that verbal bitch slappin'.
