For Indy car to only be pulling a .04 share on a Mainstream network like ABC is really bad! If it was for the INDY 500, that series would have been gone long ago!

But did you see the attendance? Sold out seating on Saturday, standing room was the only available walk up admission.

That's because they were at the track instead of sitting at home in front of their tv.

Just further proof that it's not a drag racing problem. Even though improvements can be made in several classes, getting it to project in the proper manner on TV is still a problem with Rieff-n-company. The 4-wide was a prime example at least from what I heard on espn3 and this aint their first 4-wide rodeo. It sounded like there was no prep at all, like they just walked in those trailer doors with a cup of coffee and winged it.

Would love to see attendance numbers. On tv, except for I think Pomona, it looks like they're all pretty crowded.

4-WIDE:

So they had 300,000 people at the track?

Sunday was far from packed. Right side looked very empty. Saturday attendance was great and good for them.

If 4 wide is so great than why don't the TV ratings support it? The Gatornationals blew away the 4 wide race on TV and from my rough estimation were the lowest ratings of the year.

No sense in arguing about it or even discussing it, it's not going away. NHRA will let Bruton Smith run whatever he wants for as long as he wants, especially this dog and pony show.
