Wasn't it Capps who at one point complained that John was hogging in on his camera/interviews? Or was that Cruz?

The day I can say I can drive and compete at the level Capps and Force do is the day I'll be on here criticizing them. We all make mistakes and believe me, at age 69 (I'm exactly 3 months older than Force), they come more often than we'd like.

I truly believe that if and when Force realizes he's a danger to other racers, he'll sideline himself. In the meantime, stop and think of what that man has done for NHRA drag racing. He's controversial and steps on himself occasionally, no doubt...but who here would want him any other way?

Capps one of the most respected drivers ever. Met him at a show and he was 100 percent humble

So when does Ron's contract run out with DSR? Hmmmmm, timing could be everything.

I'm around all these guys a lot...my most exciting moments are when I'm around Eugene Gray.

Other than him I can assure you that Ron Capps is one good guy. His comments have nothing to do with sucking up to John Force or any possible future job. I'm positive of that.

Ron values where he is and recognizes the hard work and sacrifice that John Force has put in to make himself successful but also everyone else in the sport including NHRA.

I'm not friends with John Force and don't spend anytime in their pit so this comment comes from purely respect for what he's done. He has a good heart.

By the way, Ron Capps will be honored at the Medlen memorial dinner Thursday night before the Sonoma race.

Anyone that thinks Ron Capps would EVER have an issue finding a ride is very much mistaken. I believe that the day he leaves DSR will be his choice.
