They've still got a horse?

Yeah. Just not a professional horse.

With the new TV package on ESPN focusing on real racing rather than the Pro dog and pony show, it obviously is not dead.

Note that Dunn is still President - likely he was vital in setting this up and may explain why the IHRA hired him in the first place. Perhaps there is something to this plan they seem to have.

That would be cool. They're just too quiet and it looked like they were toast.

I heard a weak heartbeat... Maybe they aren't dead...

Somebody's working when they pick up 3 new tracks in the first 10 days of March.

Sportsman program is apparently not dead.

From the IHRA website:
Penwell Knights Dragway at Caprock Motorplex, Penwell, Texas 3/6/17
Muncie Dragway, Albany, Indiana 3/3/17
Bunker Hill Dragstrip, Indiana 3/1/17

None are apparently big tracks but 3 more is better than nothing...
Give the guy signing up new IHRA tracks a bonus.

That would mean that Muncie is back. I remember Muncie attending the IHRA bracket finals when we would go in the 90s.
