Default Nitro Outlaw Drag Racing Assoc Formed

Not quite sure where this goes but we'll try it here. LOL Article does not say if this is geared to nostalgic cars or not but TF and FC are the classes. Not sure how many they'll be able to get...?

Nitro fuel will be limited to a maximum of 80%. A maximum manifold pressure of 60 lbs. psi will also be implemented.

Yep - anyone who has ever raced in any class that has "Outlaw" in the name knows it means twice the rules and restrictions. It is just like things with "Nitro" in the name. If you ever got little nitro in your mouth trying to siphon it you will absolutely never: 1.Try that again & 2. Drink or apply it to your skin on purpose if you think it really has any Nitromethane in it. Whoever comes up with these names is really out of touch with reality or believes that everyone else is or thinks the shock value will excite people into wanting to see it.

They would have been better off not even mentioning those rules. I fail to see the point of doing so. Yeah, some of us probably would have learned about the eventually. But at least they wouldn't have looked like hypocrites in the same press release.

"But, at the same time this gives me the opportunity to run a fuel car a few times a year and still keep with my truck deal.
