After spending some time at DSR w/Jim Head, it could actually be the little engine that could this weekend!

Looks like WJ heading the wrong way.

WJ doing a nice long burnout, but like as Jay Leno once said about the new generation of supercars with all their fancy gizmo's and computers: "They drive you instead of you driving the car" and it looks like he over-corrected.

I am on my way to the track. The weather is cool and cloudy. The nitro cars will rip today! I don't believe the low ets from last night will hold.

I love Brian Lohnes announcing! Totally enjoyed the broadcast. Lohnes also brings out the best in Tony Pedregon. NHRA is doing a lot of good things right now and I hope they leave Lohnes alone. No... give him a raise with some of the saving from paying fewer Pro Stock purses.

That was no burnout. That was going to be his time trial. Maybe his intention was to scuff the tires for eliminations.

From what I've been told..... those cars werem't supplied by GM but were loaned to NHRA by a dealer... who is demanding payment for the car... and NHRA is refusing telling the dealer to just get GM to give them a new one. The cat was damaged far worse that it looked like it would from that hid. The airbags deployed and something broke in the steering system. Once fixed it won't be able to be sold as a new car.

a dealer is gonna loan out 2 brand spankin' new camaros for drag racing with no caveats ????. if it turns out nhra has to foot the bill , then i'm guessing we've definitely seen WJ's last trip down a national event race 😀

Anyone see the bump spot in Top Dragster??? 6.23!!!! The quickest I've ever known of prior to this was Norwalk 2017 @ 6.65.

It was actually quicker than that Norwalk bump you mention last year at Bowling Green.
