First video from the event with a great save....
And the full event video....😀
Good save but not "greatest ever, LOL
The best save I ever saw was at one of the March Meets in the mid 70's.
A long time ago, and don't remember the exact year. (CRS)
Chris Karamesines had his car out of shape, up on 2 wheels sideways, whacked the throttle while the cars was in one of those slow drifts trying to decide if it was going over, and it drove the car down out of the drift back on 4 wheels. One of the best racing highlights I have ever seen in person.
Steve Faria's 1st in the 5's was another.
Here's an epic old save...
Most Moapr guys aren't willing to take such chances with their cars like the Chebbie guys with their disposable dime a dozen cars. But when they do, this is how they do it.
Can it get better than this?
HEMI_guy asked, "Can it get better than this?"
Nope... I believe Fiorelli's 1141 footer from 2014 still stands as the WPWSC record.
Aside from Coash's mishap in the R/T, what do you all think of this year's event video linked above?
It was a great save of a beautiful car but that was water and not oil.
