"There are well over 50 Ross Gibson engines that were created. I don't have an exact number. The list includes pretty much every variation of Mopar power from race motors to factory stock. It would be a major undertaking to track down at least one of each today."

Here's the last one I built (2010). She needs a bath.
... btw, yes, they're should be a PM/MT category!
I never knew so many parts were available! AJPE engines and MW rear ends?
Took some pics before putting her back in the garage/box for who knows how long. It's the first time I've seen it in years and stumbled upon it. Modeling a bathroom is my present project. Working on this stuff again these days? Forget it. I'm retired.
Like the movie, with a name like this one, you don't leave her out in the public for long anyway ☠️
From Drag City Casting:
Check out this 1979 Ford Pro Stock kit from Futurattraction! It's much better than the '82 model! LOL! This is a kit that I had been commissioned by Scott Popham to cast for him to sell. It is no longer in production; however, Scott does have a number of kits/bodies left for sale! He mastered this kit from SCRATCH! This did not start from any existing styrene kit body; nor was it 3D printed. No model company to date has produced a 1979 Ford Fairmont in scale.....promotional, assembly kit, or otherwise! This is old school craftsmanship at its finest!
Scott offers some of the most expertly crafted multi-media drag racing parts in the model business. If you support guys like Scott it only helps to ensure more great product from him in the future.
Contact Scott DIRECTLY to order this Fairmont kit (offered in several variations...including three different hood options and two different Fairmont bodies with specific rear wheel well shapes). Scott also offers several different decal sheets (expertly designed and printed) to build your favorite well-known Fairmont drag car! He has all of this in stock; so little to no waiting period! Keep in mind that these Fairmont kits will not be molded again! I have finished casting all of the Fairmont kits that Scott has to sell; so do not miss out!

I had the yellow one!
From Bob Gillespie at Scale Survivors:
My two nitro match racers both created in the early 70’s. The “Russ Davis” 71 Camaro (sorry to all the drag purists, the Russ Davis decal looked good coming out of my scrap decal box). In the left lane is the “Mental Cruelty” rear engine Vega.
My kit bashed 71 Camaro funny car. Still have it after building it in 1973. It had working steering from the butterfly to the spindles, working throttle from the loud peddle to the injectors hat, working fire extinguisher release system and parachute release cable. Fully plumbed and wired and many scratch built metal parts. 1/32nd Monogram body from a snap-tite kit mounted on a highly modified Revell chassis with drive train, tires and wheels in 1/25th scale.
Built this rear engine Vega Funny Car in 1973 and still have it. It was inspired by Jim Dunn’s Cuda mixed with Dave Bowman’s “California Stud” Vega. I fabricated two AMT Vega bodies to get the length and an MPC base chassis and drive train. It featured working steering linkages and removable rear mags, all using brass jewellers screws and nuts.

Now that is one nice piece......
Side note: That vintage of S10 has become quite popular in the bracket ranks.
^ I second that! You hardly ever see a PST model for sure.
