Agree Hemi! ^^^^
If this puts him under... it was of his own doing. I mean how long has the family owned that property for? The only way that could happen is if he put it up for loan collateral. And even if that was the case and he couldn't make the payments... it would be pretty stupid of the bank to take it. and put it up for auction.
Agree on all points! That place brings too much money into the area too. No bank is gonna risk being the hated landlord/eviction agent there. I mean, come on let's be real. I understand the tracks using hard language about the lack of funds this has caused but if the property managements companies cannot evict tenants for rent non-payment during this crisis, I can tell you no business with bank loans is going suffer that fate either.
I tried to just cut and paste this but it wouldn't let me. Hope posting this isn't against the TOS rules here,
Apparently this is the plan. Only changes I can see from the "unofficial" 16 races schedule that was passed around for a while:
1. 2 July events at Indy
2. No Sonoma
3. It shows Indy ending on Sunday rather than Labor Day-is that correct?
4. Joliet replaced with Atlanta
2 races in a row
A week off between Indy and Seattle
14 IN A ROW
A week off before the Finals
… lord help the low budget teams after 7 in a row of parts attrition.
Pro Mod is gonna be tough too but I'm excited that everybody has a chance to get out there! Gonna see how tough these hard working teams are!
Only 4 unsponsored events, not bad.
37 days until Indy!
Cross your fingers there's not another virus spike by then. There's a whole lot of stupid going on our there.
Yes you're right.
… 22 more days...
Rules for the fans. Be prepared to wear a mask all day and have a funny tan line on your face by the end of the weekend.
I'm curious if they have a seating plan available. The Northwest Nat's has all of their seats available for purchase.
All seats for the July events are general admission
I'm still holding out hope that this thing will die down to the point these restrictions can be safely lifted by the time the US Nationals come around.
I looked at the ATL race and when I tested the ticket system for the 3 days and 4 people, it gave me the seats next to each other and it picked out the seating area for me, no seating map to choose.
… btw, looks like Indy 1/3 and 2/3 is a go...
… 15 more days till we're drag racin' again!
… a word from the President
"The NHRA’s TV agreement doesn’t offer the luxury of racing in front of empty grandstands, like NASCAR has been able to do without a devastating financial side-effect."
10 more days and Indy still looking good health-wise.

Three months after New York state became the epicenter of the nation's coronavirus outbreak, the White House's coronavirus task force coordinator, Dr. Deborah Birx, said on the Today show this morning that the country is now facing "Three New Yorks."
FL, TX, and CA now in the cross-hairs.
Time to add more Indy events. There's no way these states will be ready for the NHRA in 60 days.
........with fingers crossed for Indy.
NYC not the state. Corrected.
Got my tickets, I never imagined going to 3 races in a 5 week period when this pandemic started. Thankful I live close enough to go.
… and also 27 bucks? Who'd a thunk Corona would actually benefit some folks. Man if I were near Indy, I would definitely take advantage. 4 of them (Maybe 5 or 6 by the end of all this) will never happen again in our lifetime.
been to the first two... haven't made up my mine yet on the 3rd. I know if the 3rd was this weekend, I wouldn't be going. it's a 3 and half hour hall from me, and despite free tickets it's still about $100 for a room, almost $50 for gas and a bunch more on food than eating at home.
beside, I may go to the Detroit Dragway Reunion tomorrow at Milan,
Anybody from Nevada and/or heard about the Vegas track and where they are on holding events?
Yvonne I bought my tickets for Halloween in Vegas. I haven't heard or seen anything different to say they weren't running. Will see.
Thanks! Hoping its a GO.
