JOHN FORCE RACING WILL RETURN IN 2021 | Competition Plus
Doubtful . In fact, I doubt if we will see a complete schedule for 2021 .
They will be lucky to pull of 8 events.
Considering NHRA successfully pulled off way more events in 2020 than ANYBODY expected, I'd say you guys are underestimating them. ;)
JFR.... long overdue but will be glad to see them back.
Agree with you. Last year there were dire predictions and NHRA still pulled off 11 events. While it's possible they don't run every event of the schedule as it currently stands, have to think they will run more than 11 events this year.
Glad to see JFR back, we need them
So Austin's Odd Man out. Bummer. The hazard of working for a family run bidness.
NHRA did just fine without them, who would have thought otherwise. If JFR would just race instead of trying to be dramatic and thinking he/them has to flap their gums nonstop. Sponsor commercials I cant switch channels fast enough. Other than that I dont have a problem with JFR. 😝
I'll predict 18-20
I'll pretty much agree on all of that. There's the difference between respect and like. The two aren't aren't always mutually intertwined.
Welcome back JFR. Looking forward to the NHRA season.
NHRA Legend John Force ‘Embarrassed’ over Extended Absence from Series (autoweek.com)

I look forward to the increase in car counts. Hopefully this news doesn't chase off the low buck teams that came out last year.
That team lost its sponsor, but Austin Prock remains employed with JFR....
Force regrets his return will only be with three teams; two Funny Cars, and one Top Fueler. Austin Prock, the 2019 NHRA Rookie of the Year as a Top Fuel competitor, is sidelined for the time being, but will remain with the team alongside his father Jimmy and serving as a test driver.
"The Prock kid is still with me; he'll still be testing. I've got to stay in the seat for a while, but I'm going to try to bring that sponsor back," Force said. "I don't know if I can, so we'll see where it goes."
