Who's collection of vintage kits?
I've had/have many shown and more....
I don't know. When I get some time at work, I've been collecting these box pics little by little since I started the thread. Finally had some time to post them all.
I'm amazed at how many that were available. A stark contrast to where we are today. Like with the 90's Racing Champions 1/24, 1/64, and 1/144 diecast filling up shelves in the stores, it all just dried up.
Someone needs to make at least one of todays current vehicles, but tooling costs probably will kill that effort. A shame.

Mark Gredzinski at Straight Line Modelers (Accurate Drag Cars ONLY!):
"This is the Fuel Altered finished chassis. Based on the Jo-Han Pinto Funny Car, it was an experiment to take out the Ford 429 engine and fit a 392 Chysler to see how it looked."
Tyrone Price at model car builders:
"I built this back in 2015.. it is not a replica of barefoot Ronnie's car.. I fell in love with the color of his and used it on here.. but it's not a replica.. I think his car is a backhalf car.. this car in 1:1 cale would be a tube chassis type of car"

"A lowered 1/16 scale Vega . This is about as low as you can get one of these cars."
About the gold chrome used on the motor:
It is Tamiya clear yellow sprayed with an air brush coat after coat till I liked the shade. It is sprayed right over the chrome. Regular mix with some reducer. Any candy or transparent color will work right over the chrome with out sanding the chrome. I just put it on till I like the shade . It has to be done in very light coats with patience but once done it is nice."
